What you will do

• Lead and manage cross-functional squads of security engineers, providing technical guidance and conducting career development reviews.
• Own the technical execution lifecycle for cybersecurity projects, including sprint planning, milestone tracking, and resource capacity management.
• Supervise the deployment and integration of core security technologies such as IAM, network security, and cloud security controls.
• Ensure all engineering outputs and system implementations strictly align with corporate policies and cybersecurity frameworks.
• Act as the primary operational liaison between engineering teams, senior leadership, and external banking stakeholders to report on project velocity and risks.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years in cybersecurity or infrastructure engineering, with at least 3 years in a formal team management or delivery lead role.
• Documented experience leading engineering delivery or managing technical infrastructure within a regulated tier-1 or tier-2 banking institution.
• Proven capability to lead and motivate highly technical personnel in a high-pressure corporate environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Agile/Scrum or waterfall methodologies utilizing tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Practical understanding of applying enterprise security control frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO/IEC 27001, or CIS Benchmarks.
• Prior experience in a client-facing professional services or consultancy capacity managing SOW compliance and stakeholder relationships.

Nice to have

• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, Agile/Scrum (CSM, Safe), or cloud security credentials.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps, modern CI/CD security pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) governance.
• Experience tracking operational expenditure (OpEx) and capital expenditure (CapEx) for technical tooling and headcount.
