What you will do

• Lead the technical design of robust security patterns, reference architectures, and engineering baselines across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises systems.
• Oversee and execute the deployment of enterprise-grade security controls, focusing on IAM, data protection, and cryptographic infrastructures.
• Serve as the final engineering authority for complex security flaws, configuration issues, and infrastructure vulnerabilities.
• Define and implement enterprise encryption standards, key management lifecycles (PKI/KMS), and tokenization strategies.
• Provide deep technical mentorship to security engineers and validate infrastructure-as-code (IaC) templates.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and risk committees to align engineering roadmaps with institutional risk tolerance.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years in information security, system engineering, or infrastructure design, with 4+ years in a Principal or Lead capacity.
• Proven experience designing and engineering security controls within highly regulated tier-1 or tier-2 banking infrastructure.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Terraform or CloudFormation within CI/CD pipelines.
• Deep technical proficiency in building and securing native infrastructure in AWS and Azure.
• Expert knowledge of enterprise IAM protocols (OAuth, SAML, OIDC) and PAM architectures.
• Thorough practical knowledge of symmetric/asymmetric encryption, cryptographic protocols, and HSM/KMS.

Nice to have

• Advanced certifications such as CISSP-ISSAP, CCSP, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer.
• Familiarity with securing automated data science pipelines, model deployment architectures, and MLOps platforms.
• Conceptual understanding of secure coding practices, API gateway security, and microservices mesh architectures.
