What you will do

  • Develop and evolve the employee experience and engagement strategy for Costa Rica, ensuring alignment with corporate values.
  • Provide strategic oversight of local HR services, focusing on operational excellence, compliance, and employee-centric delivery.
  • Lead Total Rewards and benefits strategy, performing market benchmarking and managing partnerships with external institutions.
  • Manage relationships and negotiations with brokers and benefits vendors to ensure high-quality service and SLA compliance.
  • Analyze HR metrics and data to translate insights into recommendations for leadership.
  • Ensure full compliance with Costa Rica labor laws and statutory requirements across all HR processes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in employee experience, engagement, HR operations, or people services leadership.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Law, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, influence senior stakeholders, and manage complex compliance matters.
  • Must be based in Costa Rica to manage local HR services and legal requirements.
