TL;DR

Quality Control Specialist (Creative): Ensuring the accuracy and consistency of creative and digital deliverables across multiple channels with an accent on visual, functional, and technical quality standards. Focus on identifying defects in static assets, video, and web experiences to ensure alignment with client requirements.

Location: Full on-site attendance required at the Barreal office (Heredia, Costa Rica), Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (CR time).

What you will do

  • Perform comprehensive quality reviews of creative and digital deliverables for accuracy and brand compliance.
  • Identify and document visual, content, and functional defects with actionable feedback.
  • Validate assets across various formats, including static creatives, video, HTML banners, and websites.
  • Collaborate with Producers, Designers, and Developers to resolve quality issues and mitigate delivery risks.
  • Maintain project documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of production efficiency.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in QC, QA, or Creative Production review.
  • English: B2+/C1 proficiency required (reading, writing, and conversation).
  • Strong understanding of design fundamentals including typography, layout, color, and visual hierarchy.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma.
  • Knowledge of QA/QC methodologies and defect management processes.
  • Must be based in or able to work full-time onsite in Heredia, Costa Rica.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in design.
  • Experience with Central workflow management platforms.
  • Ability to create Test Plans, Test Cases, and execute UAT.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and WCAG accessibility standards.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum and defect tracking tools.
