What you will do

• Lead and manage reporters covering tech, energy, and workplace trends to shape a global business agenda.
• Use audience analytics and data tools (e.g., Pars.ly) to inform editorial decisions and optimize story performance.
• Edit content for accuracy, clarity, and impact according to CNBC style under tight deadlines.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with TV, video, and social media teams to produce multiplatform journalism.
• Develop forward-looking editorial plans based on industry trends and policy shifts.
• Curate and publish content across social platforms and manage the homepage and app front.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of financial markets, economics, technology, and politics.
• Deep understanding of US and APAC company landscapes and major technology trends.
• Proven ability to perform substantive edits and write compelling headlines under pressure.
• Excellent verbal communication, organizational, and research skills.
• Must be available for in-person interviews and work in Singapore.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings or weekends.

Nice to have

• 7+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in people management.
• Experience working for a leading business news organization.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and newsroom hot-seating.
• Experience editing breaking news and feature stories in a fast-paced environment.
