What you will do

• Design and execute compliance strategies aligned with business goals and OJK/other regulatory requirements.
• Interpret new and evolving regulations, translate them into actionable guidance, and ensure timely implementation across products and functions.
• Engage proactively with regulators, policymakers, and industry associations to shape fair and future-ready fintech regulations.
• Advise business leadership and cross-functional teams (product, marketing, operations) on regulatory risks to support informed decisions.
• Build a culture of compliance judgment and ethical decision-making within the team.
• Monitor regulatory trends and anticipate their impact on business models to stay ahead of compliance risks.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in compliance or public policy roles within fintech, payments, or financial services, plus experience in business/operations (a plus).
• Strong regulatory knowledge of OJK and Indonesia’s financial sector regulations, with ability to interpret and apply evolving rules.
• Excellent judgment and critical thinking to balance regulatory requirements with business needs.
• Strong communication skills to simplify complex regulations for diverse internal stakeholders and build trust with regulators and policymakers.
• Leadership ability to influence without formal authority and collaborate across teams.
• Economy or science educational background.
