Location: Makati City, Philippines (flexibility to overlap hours with European teams required)

What you will do

• Define and evolve application architecture for product-oriented systems across legacy and modern platforms.
• Lead integration design and guide technical decisions for APIs, services, and frontend applications.
• Drive modernization initiatives to improve maintainability, scalability, reliability, and developer efficiency.
• Establish and promote architecture standards and engineering best practices across global teams.
• Collaborate with product, DevOps, and business stakeholders to translate business goals into technical solutions.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance through prototyping, architecture reviews, and complex implementation support.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, specifically designing enterprise or product-focused applications.
• Strong expertise in C# and .NET/.NET Core for backend architecture and APIs.
• Solid understanding of frontend architecture using React and/or Angular.
• Strong SQL skills and experience in application data design and performance.
• Experience with REST APIs and service-oriented or microservices-based design.
• Must be based in Makati City, Philippines with ability to provide overlap with European working hours.

Nice to have

• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure and/or AWS.
• Experience with Docker, Terraform, and infrastructure automation.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, release management, and environment strategy.
• Experience in financial services or regulated enterprise product ecosystems.
