What you will do

• Build and maintain spend visibility dashboards broken down by product, feature, tenant, and team.
• Develop cloud spend forecast models incorporating sales projections and product roadmap initiatives.
• Define and manage spend alarms, driving investigations into cost anomalies and incidents.
• Track unit economics, including cost per customer, per operation, and AI token usage rates.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to improve tagging taxonomy and infrastructure classification.
• Present spend findings and recommendations to engineering and finance leadership.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US
• Significant experience as a FinOps cloud spend analyst on a major cloud provider, preferably AWS.
• Strong exploratory data analysis skills using SQL for large, complex billing datasets.
• Experience in a FinOps role at a B2B SaaS company with multi-tenant architecture.
• Proven ability to build cost reporting dashboards using tools like QuickSight, Tableau, or Looker.
• Proficiency in building forecasting models in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Familiarity with cloud savings mechanisms such as Savings Plans, Reserved Instances, and Spot Instances.
