What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain software for planning and executing high-resolution aerial imagery capture.
• Build application-level integrations with commercial and internal hardware components, including digital cameras and navigation equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues across the full capture stack, including application code, operating systems, networking, and physical aircraft hardware.
• Lead the development of technical designs and specifications, collaborating with stakeholders to validate requirements.
• Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and collaborate with hardware and operations teams for successful delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 6-8 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven skills in building scalable, maintainable application and service-layer code.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot cross-disciplinary systems involving both software and hardware.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Location: Must be based in Perth, Australia

Nice to have

• Strong expertise in modern, cross-platform C# and/or C++.
• Experience with CI/CD and cloud-based deployment.
