TL;DR

Senior Manager, Analytics (Gamedev): Guiding the central analytics sub-craft and mentoring a team of analysts to translate complex data into actionable insights for game teams with an accent on data strategy and player-coach leadership. Focus on optimizing UA and Ads strategies, bridging technical ML teams with business units, and integrating AI automation into workflows.

Location: Hybrid (Helsinki Metropolitan Area), 2-3 days per week in office

What you will do

  • Coach and grow a talented team of six data analysts through trust and open communication.
  • Collaborate with UA, Game Teams, Ads, and Finance to develop and share actionable strategies.
  • Balance leadership duties with hands-on data analysis and the creation of data models.
  • Act as a strategic bridge between technical data engineering/ML teams and business stakeholders.
  • Promote a forward-thinking culture by integrating AI tools and automation into daily workflows.
  • Contribute to business unit planning to align analytics capabilities with the needs of various games.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience with a passion for mentoring and building collaborative team cultures.
  • Strong professional experience working hands-on as a Data Analyst.
  • Expert proficiency in SQL and Python, specifically with pandas and numpy libraries.
  • Experience building clear, effective dashboards within cloud environments like AWS.
  • Degree in a quantitative field (Math, Computer Science, Economics) or equivalent self-taught foundation.
  • Must be based in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area for a hybrid work setup (2-3 days in office).

Nice to have

  • Experience in data analytics within the mobile free-to-play gaming sector.
  • Deep understanding of Ads and User Acquisition (UA) analytics.
