TL;DR

Software Architect (PHP/AWS): Designing and optimizing the architecture of a global SaaS platform connecting businesses and customers across 30+ digital channels with an accent on microservices integration and AWS ecosystem. Focus on defining technical direction for new product innovations, implementing DDD and clean architecture, and driving the adoption of AI within products.

Location: Hybrid in Prague, Czech Republic (2 days office, 3 days remote)

What you will do

  • Define architecture for new product innovations in collaboration with Product Management and other architects.
  • Design integrations between microservices and systems across the hirify.global product portfolio.
  • Select optimal patterns, frameworks, and technologies, specifically within the AWS ecosystem (SQS, Kinesis, ECS, EKS).
  • Set end-to-end technical direction and provide leadership to development teams.
  • Drive long-term improvements in system quality and act as a technology evangelist within the organization.
  • Contribute to the adoption of AI within internal processes and product offerings.

Requirements

  • Proven professional experience with PHP and JavaScript.
  • Deep knowledge of AWS services (ECS, EKS, EC2, SQS, Kinesis, Lambda, ElastiCache, RDS, Kafka).
  • Experience with OpenSearch and building CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong proficiency in DDD, clean architecture, and microservices.
  • Must be based in or able to work from the Prague office according to the hybrid model.
