Software Architect (AWS/PHP)

Location: Prague, Czech Republic; hybrid schedule with 2 office days and 3 remote days per week

What you will do

• Define architecture for new product innovations in collaboration with Product Management and other architects.
• Design integrations between microservices and systems across the hirify.global product portfolio.
• Select patterns, frameworks, and technologies, especially within the AWS ecosystem.
• Set the end-to-end technical direction and collaborate closely with development teams.
• Propose long-term improvements to system quality, code quality, and architecture.
• Share best practices, influence technology direction, and contribute to AI adoption in products and internal processes.

Requirements

• Professional experience with PHP and JavaScript.
• Experience with AWS services such as ECS, EKS, EC2, SQS, Kinesis, Lambda, ElastiCache, RDS, and Kafka.
• Knowledge of OpenSearch and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Domain-Driven Design, clean architecture, and microservices.
• Availability to work from the Prague office two days per week.
