Data Science Intern (Python)

TL;DR

Data Science Intern (Python): Supporting the Data Science team in data cleaning, validation, and basic analysis to deliver consumer insights with an accent on automating processes and developing prototypes. Focus on building data visualizations in Power BI and exploring diverse datasets using Python to resolve data queries.

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Compensation: up to MYR 1,200 monthly

What you will do

• Support day-to-day activities including data cleaning, validation, extraction, and basic analysis.
• Collaborate on developing new solutions, use cases, and prototypes using Python.
• Automate existing processes and enhance data visualizations and dashboards in Power BI.
• Maintain positive working relationships across teams to ensure client satisfaction.
• Ensure adherence to regional and global standards and compliance guidelines.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Beginner to intermediate proficiency in Python and Power BI.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Must be located in or be able to work in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
