Senior Performance Engineer

What you will do

• Define and own performance KPIs, SLAs, and SLOs for a global enterprise platform.
• Design and maintain load, stress, and endurance tests based on realistic business workflows.
• Optimize application performance, focusing on JVM, memory, garbage collection, and database queries.
• Build and maintain performance engineering toolchains and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Establish observability and monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and Sentry.
• Perform root cause analysis for latency issues, memory leaks, and throughput degradation.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Performance Engineering.
• Strong experience with enterprise applications in on-premise and cloud environments.
• Deep understanding of Linux diagnostics, system scalability, and REST/API performance.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as k6, Gatling, JMeter, or Locust.
• Expertise in analyzing JVM performance and memory management.
• Must be based in Poland
