What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable frontend payment systems for eMoney and FX services.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to implement technical standards and UI/UX principles.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high code quality and adherence to secure coding practices.
• Mentor junior engineers by providing constructive feedback and sharing knowledge to foster professional growth.
• Contribute to architectural discussions to improve system design and overall technical direction.
• Develop and document software processes in compliance with internal policies and industry standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience, with 1–2 years specifically in fintech, FX, or payment processing.
• Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid setup in London, UK.
• Strong expertise in building scalable frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
• Proficiency with modern build tools like Vite and styling approaches such as TailwindCSS or SCSS.
• Working knowledge of backend development using Node.js and NestJS.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying and maintaining services on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Experience with modern testing frameworks such as Jest or Vitest.
• Basic understanding of secure development practices and threat modelling.
