Data Scientist (Mandarin Speaking)

Location: Hybrid in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Supporting the China market)

What you will do

• Design and manage universe studies and document methodologies for transparency.
• Set up and simulate extrapolation designs for new panels and perform impact analysis.
• Optimize samples by detecting outliers and addressing issues like empty shops or slow sales.
• Model missing retailers and implement new country-channel setups, including reviewing channel definitions.
• Monitor panel health KPIs and perform root cause analysis (RCA) to define improvement points.
• Resolve Level 2 methodology clarification issues.

Requirements

• Proficiency in statistical modeling and data analysis.
• Experience with quality assurance, sample optimization, and PoS production processes.
• Strong command of both English and Chinese (Mandarin) languages.
• Extensive experience working in international environments and within the Panel Quality value chain.
• High knowledge of all PoS (RMS) value chains.
• Must be based in or able to work from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
