Senior Quality Project Engineer

TL;DR

Senior Quality Project Engineer (Quality Assurance): Managing Dead on Arrival (DoA) escalations and root cause analysis for customer spare parts with an accent on lifecycle tracking and stakeholder coordination. Focus on driving the 8D process, improving quality KPIs, and enhancing collaboration between engineering and customer service sectors.

What you will do

• Facilitate DoA escalation meetings and assign root cause analysis (RCA) owners.
• Track RCA status and drive stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery of responses.
• Analyze DoA KPIs, including failure rates and cycle times using spotfile and AIR systems.
• Develop weekly and monthly quality reports to monitor process performance.
• Coordinate with cross-functional sectors (D&E, CS, FAC, S&SC) to foster a Living Quality Culture.
• Manage quality initiatives to improve overall customer satisfaction and product reliability.

Requirements

• Experience with BOM structure build-up and proficiency in Oracle or Arena.
• Strong logic and critical thinking skills for result-oriented problem solving within targeted cycle times.
• Ability to work effectively with international teams and across different cultures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• English: Good communication skills required.
• Chinese: Ability to write professional e-mail instructions required.
