What you will do

• Design cutting-edge software frameworks, systems, and prototypes for mainframe environments.
• Provide technical leadership to application development teams and perform design and code reviews.
• Ensure enterprise-wide application design standards are maintained across all projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align architecture with business requirements and project goals.
• Create and maintain documentation for software architecture, component integration, and testing guidelines.
• Identify and resolve framework design weaknesses to ensure system reliability and performance.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from Brno, Czech Republic.
• Extensive architectural experience in large-scale customer change and transformation projects.
• In-depth knowledge of hardware and software connectivity between platforms.
• Working knowledge of CA Broadcom products or IBM iSeries (AS/400) including system operations and modernization.
• Strong understanding of application support and transformation initiatives.

Nice to have

• The Open Group Master Certified Architect or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience in a Mainframe environment.
• Experience with Modernise On, Integrate With, and Move Off project types.
• Understanding of z/OS and 3rd party Mainframe software.
• Familiarity with applying AI to accelerate application transformation.
