What you will do

  • Implement test automation and validation protocols for coherent DSP ASICs.
  • Conduct hardware validation tasks in labs using instruments such as DCA, BERT, ONT, UXR, and spectrum analyzers.
  • Collaborate with Test, Hardware, Design, and Firmware engineering teams to optimize chip performance and power efficiency.
  • Analyze and deliver concise technical reports on validation results.
  • Debug and resolve bugs and firmware issues within the digital communications system design flow.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Python for test automation and data processing.
  • Experience with SVN and GIT file revision control.
  • English: Good communication skills (verbal and written) required.
  • Spanish: Native or fluent proficiency required.
  • Must be eligible to access export-controlled information under U.S. export control laws (EAR).

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of optical communications, digital signal processing (DSP), and communication protocols.
  • Experience with database manipulation.
  • Hands-on experience handling laboratory measuring instruments.
  • Acquaintance with digital system design flows.
