What you will do

• Design and analyze neuromorphic AI algorithms for robotics, control, and signal processing on edge platforms.
• Develop software artifacts including APIs, kernels, and benchmarking tools for collaborative innovation.
• Prototype models optimizing for quantization, sparsity, memory footprint, latency, and energy.
• Translate algorithmic requirements into hardware specifications in collaboration with HW/SW engineering teams.
• Build experimental pipelines and conduct comprehensive baseline and ablation studies for target use cases.
• Communicate findings through technical documentation and publications in leading conferences and journals.

Requirements

• PhD in Computational Neuroscience, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Robotics, or a related field.
• Must be based in or eligible to work in the designated US locations (Hybrid model).
• 2+ years of experience with state-of-the-art AI models, optimization, and control/dynamical systems or signal processing.
• 3+ publications in leading AI/ML, edge computing, robotics, or control journals/conferences.
• Proficiency in scientific programming (Python or C++) with software development best practices.
• Proven ability to turn research ideas into rigorously evaluated working prototypes.

Nice to have

• Experience with Edge AI HW accelerators or event-based sensors.
• Knowledge of quantization and computations with low-precision arithmetic.
• Background in hardware architecture and design or developing software for real-time control systems.
• Track record of open-source releases or high-impact technical narratives.
