TL;DR

Platform Operations Engineer (AWS): Designing and implementing reliable, scalable cloud infrastructure to support global operations with an accent on automation and operational excellence. Focus on managing Kubernetes clusters, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and driving innovation in monitoring and deployment practices within a regulated fintech environment.

Location: Must be based in Mexico City, with a hybrid work requirement of at least 3 days per week in-office.

What you will do

  • Design and implement improvements to cloud infrastructure and operational processes.
  • Lead and contribute to large-scale deployment and automation projects.
  • Collaborate globally to resolve incidents and enhance release processes.
  • Maintain documentation and support second-line operational excellence.
  • Drive innovation in monitoring, testing, and deployment practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–8+ years of experience in cloud operations or system administration.
  • Strong expertise in AWS architecture, Linux/Unix systems, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, Git/GitLab, and scripting for automation.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborative, global environments.
  • Must be based in Mexico City and able to work in-office 3 days per week.

Nice to have

  • Experience in DevOps practices.
  • AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer.
  • Background in fintech, capital markets, or regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with cross-cultural collaboration in global teams.
