What you will do

• Lead SRE practices and implementations across tribes within the Wholesale Banking division.
• Perform in-depth reviews of monitoring, alerting, and resilience architectural designs.
• Facilitate knowledge sessions on SLI/SLO definitions, resilience testing, and disaster recovery planning.
• Analyze incident, problem, and change data to identify and advocate for structural improvements.
• Provide hands-on support for teams struggling with monitoring and alerting standards.
• Participate in Global SRE Guilds and contribute to the broader engineering organization.

Requirements

• Must be based in Romania with the ability to work from the Bucharest office.
• Strong understanding of Linux (RHEL) or Windows environments.
• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with RDBMS databases like Oracle or MS SQL.
• Experience with CI/CD standards, preferably using Azure DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus, ELK, or Grafana.
• Solid understanding of SRE concepts including SLI, SLO, error budgeting, and availability reporting.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of OpenTelemetry.
• Experience with containerization and cloud tooling.
• Strong background in IT security principles.
