Location: Must be based in Heredia, Costa Rica

What you will do

  • Design and develop cutting-edge AI-powered applications using LLMs and RAG frameworks.
  • Architect and deploy multi-agent systems and AI-based workflows in enterprise environments.
  • Implement scalable backend services and APIs using Python.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment of AI components.
  • Ensure platform security through robust authentication, authorization, and encryption practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide work estimates and technical guidance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Approximately 5+ years of software engineering experience, with 1–2 years in modern AI-driven development.
  • Strong backend engineering skills in Python, including API and microservices development.
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, and agent orchestration frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph.
  • Solid understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Knowledge of AI security risks, including OWASP LLM Top 10 and secure agent interactions.

Nice to have

  • Experience with zero-to-one product development.
  • Knowledge of AI observability, evaluation, and monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with agent-to-agent (A2A) communication security and trust validation.
  • Experience with Kubernetes security best practices.
