What you will do
- Solve complex customer issues using methodical troubleshooting for SAP applications.
- Provide remote-based functional support and training for specialist SAP modules.
- Manage key assigned accounts as a technical and functional advisor.
- Develop application break-fixes and create scripts to analyze and correct data issues.
- Collaborate with a virtual team to share field experience and improve diagnostic methodologies.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support a 24x7x365 operation.
Requirements
- Must be based in Japan
- 10+ years of relevant SAP experience, particularly with Basis, Middleware, and Enterprise Portal Administration.
- 5+ years of direct support for application end-users in a corporate environment.
- Extensive experience in SAP HANA configuration, installation, administration, and migrations.
- Strong knowledge of multiple databases and operating systems including AIX, Linux, and Windows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

- SAP certifications.
- Consulting background.
- Experience with OpenText and industry-specific SAP solutions.
- Knowledge of global implementations and localizations.
