Graduate Talent (System Software Development Graphics and Video Driver) (C/C++/Linux): Developing Linux video, graphics, and display device drivers with an accent on performance analysis, new driver feature implementation, and recommending future hardware/software improvements. Focus on building and debugging low-level C/C++ code and collaborating with partners to enhance video/media/graphics performance.

Location: Malaysia, Penang (additional: Malaysia, Kulim)

hirify.global: Software development role within hirify.global’s Graphics, Media, Display and Camera (GMDC) team in the Edge Software group.

What you will do

• Develop Linux video, graphics, and display device driver components.
• Implement video/media/graphics software features and improvements.
• Analyze and enhance video/media/graphics performance in collaboration with partners.
• Work across multiple aspects of driver development and recommend future hardware/software changes.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree (CGPA 3.0+) or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Microelectronics/Electronics/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Fresh graduate is welcome.
• Proficiency in C/C++ with ability to write and debug C/C++ code independently.
• Strong willingness to learn new skills and technologies and to handle a variety of technical tasks.
• Good English communication (written and verbal).
