Assistant Compliance Officer

Location: Tokyo, Japan (Hybrid: 4 days in office, 1 day remote)

What you will do

• Review sales materials, documents, and external communications for Type 1 and AM business.
• Handle day-to-day regulatory filings and reporting under senior guidance.
• Provide regulatory advice on business issues and ad hoc incidents.
• Communicate compliance requirements and build relationships with internal clients.
• Revise and publicize internal rules and policies.
• Engage with regulators to maintain positive professional relationships.

Requirements

• Fluent in English and Japanese required.
• 0-3 years of experience in compliance within the asset management or financial industry.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
• Self-motivated approach to work.
• Ability to work in the Tokyo office at least four days a week.
