What you will do

• Lead and mentor two software engineering teams focused on security platform and development.
• Define the strategy and roadmap for security tooling, balancing developer experience with robust security guardrails.
• Drive the internal adoption of security systems across engineering teams.
• Manage team methodology, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Partner cross-functionally with SRE, DevOps, and compliance teams to embed security into workflows.

Requirements

• Proven experience in directly managing high-performing software engineering teams.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals with the ability to contribute to complex architecture and design.
• Experience partnering with engineering, SRE, and compliance teams.
• Proficiency in languages such as Golang, Java, or Rust.
• Experience building and operating cloud-based services.

Nice to have

• Background in security domains like application sandboxing, encryption, or vulnerability scanning.
• Understanding of the security products market and risk management.
• Experience with infrastructure tools like Terraform, Helm, or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD systems and integration pipelines.
