What you will do

• Develop and execute a European policy communications strategy aligned with business and regulatory priorities.
• Translate complex policy developments into accessible messaging regarding data sovereignty, cloud regulation, and AI policy.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, think tanks, and trade associations across Europe.
• Lead the creation of high-quality content including briefings, position papers, op-eds, and speeches.
• Manage communications on sensitive regulatory and sovereignty issues, including crisis scenarios.
• Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on policy communications and reputational matters.

Requirements

• 7–12 years of experience in policy communications, public affairs, or corporate communications.
• Strong understanding of European policymaking and regulatory environments.
• Fluency in English plus at least one additional European language (e.g., French, German, Spanish, Italian).
• Proven ability to simplify technical or regulatory topics for diverse audiences.
• Experience advising senior executives and leadership teams.
• Experience in technology, infrastructure, or regulated industries is strongly preferred.
