What you will do

• Develop and implement detailed plans for live consumer-facing events.
• Collaborate with marketing leads to align event concepts with business objectives and OKRs.
• Utilize AI tools to streamline venue research, risk tracking, and post-event reporting.
• Lead contract negotiations and manage relationships with vendors and agencies.
• Oversee the production of branded event assets, signage, and exclusive merchandise.
• Deliver data-driven post-event reports with actionable recommendations for future improvements.

Requirements

• Must be based in Tokyo, Japan and able to work 3 days per week in-office.
• Fluent in both Japanese and English (verbal and written).
• Proven experience producing live event programs in the tech or gaming industry.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools for event planning and production workflows.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle dynamic situations.
• Willingness to travel to support international event team structures.

Nice to have

• Passion for Niantic products like Pokémon GO or Pikmin Bloom.
• Experience with project management tools such as Asana.
• Proficiency in Chinese.
• Experience building AI-assisted templates or internal production tools.
