TL;DR
Audio Product Development Engineer (DSP): Port, integrate, and validate audio DSP algorithms (e.g., noise reduction, beamforming, AEC, EQ, ANC) from reference platforms to target chipsets/OS/SDKs with an accent on fixed-/floating-point behavior, real-time robustness, and mass-production readiness. Focus on system-level audio sial-chain integration, low-level DSP firmware debugging, and building calibration/measurement and automated test tooling.

What you will do
- Port, integrate, and optimize audio DSP algorithms to target platforms, embedding them into the headset firmware stack with correct interfaces, data flow, and control mechanisms.
- Integrate target platform DSP/HW modules into the end-to-end audio sial chain using platform audio peripherals and hardware abstraction layers.
- Develop and run test plans to verify individual DSP blocks and the complete audio sial chain, including regression testing for new changes.
- Perform low-level debugging and root-cause analysis for audio anomalies across DSP firmware, hardware registers, memory, and real-time execution flow; use logs/recordings and create diaostic FW builds when needed.
- Build factory calibration routines and internal tools/scripts for automated testing, debugging, and performance evaluation during development and manufacturing.
- Document implementations and collaborate with DSP/algorithm, FW/SW, and acoustic engineering teams, including working with vendors for SDK updates and technical support.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Sial Processing, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Solid knowledge of core audio DSP concepts (e.g., equalization, FFT, adaptive filters, gain control).
- Experience with MATLAB or Python for sial analysis, verification, and test automation.
- Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems.
- Hands-on understanding of fixed-point and floating-point DSP implementations, including performance, memory, and power optimization.
- Experience with hardware-software integration and audio peripherals (ADCs, DACs, I2S/PCM interfaces).
- Experience with Git and modern software development workflows.
- English communication skills for verbal and written collaboration (good working proficiency).
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with DSP architectures and toolchains (e.g., ARM, Tensilica).
- Experience with multi-mic processing, AEC, noise reduction, or ANC implementations.
- Experience with automated test frameworks and CI for embedded/DSP projects.
- Background in communication headsets/earbuds/speakerphones or similar audio products.
