Data Engineer

TL;DR

Data Engineer: Supporting and maintaining data organization processes including ETL, reporting, and data lake infrastructure with an accent on troubleshooting production environments and resolving technical issues. Focus on collaborating with business partners and creating new data processes using a wide range of BI and database technologies.

What you will do

• Monitor and maintain ETL processes and reporting systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve failures within the production environment.
• Collaborate directly with internal business partners to identify and address data-related issues.
• Create and implement new data processes and reports as required.
• Provide regular status updates on work assignments to management.
• Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation for off-hours support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• Technical knowledge of ETL processes and reporting tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively with business partners.
• Foundational knowledge in system administration and software development.
• Ability to apply testing principles and defect management techniques.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies and DevOps principles.

Nice to have

• Experience with BI reporting tools such as SSRS, Logi, or Crystal Reports.
• Proficiency in SQL Server.
• Exposure to Snowflake technology.
