TL;DR

Multilingual Medical Information Specialist (Medical): Providing medical and safety information to consumers and healthcare professionals on behalf of pharmaceutical clients with an accent on regulatory compliance and adverse event documentation. Focus on translating complex medical documents and delivering accurate, labeled responses across multiple communication channels.

Location: Australia. Supports remote work, but encourages a hybrid model for candidates within commuting distance of offices.

What you will do

  • Respond to unsolicited medical and safety information requests from consumers and healthcare professionals via phone, email, and website.
  • Identify, document, and report adverse events, pregnancy reports, and product complaints according to government regulations and SOPs.
  • Translate medical documents from English to the target language and vice versa.
  • Perform quality checks on Adverse Events, Product Quality Complaints, and translated correspondence.
  • Log all enquiries accurately and timely into Inquiry Handling Systems.

Requirements

  • Degree in Life Sciences, Nursing (RN/BS/BA/MS), or Pharmacy.
  • Mother tongue proficiency in the target language and fluency in English.
  • Strong translation skills and working knowledge of medical terminology, pathophysiology, and pharmacology.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional telephone etiquette.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and document management systems.
  • Must be based in Australia.
