What you will do

• Develop tooling for VM image creation, management, and release across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Lead high-level architectural planning and independently drive major features at Staff level.
• Own and improve Java-based image validation and test automation frameworks.
• Manage infrastructure and configuration using Ansible, Salt, and Packer.
• Deliver scalable, high-availability solutions for large-scale distributed systems.

Requirements

• Strong generalist engineering background with full lifecycle ownership (coding, architecture, release, testing/quality gates).
• Significant Java experience, especially for building test code and automation frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Go.
• Hands-on cloud and infrastructure experience with at least one of AWS, Azure, or GCP plus Ansible/Salt/Packer.
• Knowledge of distributed systems design (scaling, replication, consistency, high availability).
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues in large-scale distributed cloud environments.
