What you will do
- Provide pre- and post-trade compliance support to Portfolio Management and Trading teams.
- Extract and review investment guideline coding from prospectuses, SAI documents, investment management agreements, and related contractual documents.
- Administer the order management system, including rule creation, testing, and production enhancements.
- Review post-trade exceptions and escalate issues to front office staff and Compliance Officers when needed.
- Design, refine, and execute internal controls and compliance procedures; conduct surveillance and forensic testing in partnership with Compliance Officers.
- Use SQL & CRIMS to extract, verify, and analyze data; produce actionable recommendations and manage compliance projects such as annual compliance testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an applicable business-related field.
- Excellent written and oral communication, including the ability to deliver presentations.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize data and provide actionable insights.
- Detail-oriented, able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain confidentiality and data accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; must not require immigration sponsorship for this role.
