TL;DR

Controlling Intern (Finance): Supporting the Italian Controlling unit in financial monitoring, reporting, and accounting processes with an accent on data accuracy and performance analysis. Focus on assisting with monthly closings, annual budgeting, and preparing strategic presentations for management.

Location: Must be based in Milan, Italy (Onsite)

What you will do

• Assist in preparing daily and monthly internal reports to monitor KPIs and variances.
• Support month-end closing activities and ensure proper cost allocation.
• Help with data collection and the preparation of the annual budget.
• Analyze general ledger reviews to ensure consistency between accounting flows and management analysis.
• Prepare ad hoc analyses and presentations to support management decision-making.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Economics, Management Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in MS Office, specifically advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables).
• Good knowledge of English and Italian (both written and spoken).
• Strong result orientation, extreme precision, and analytical mindset.
• Must be able to work 5 days per week in the Milan office.
