TL;DR
Software Engineer (Java) (iGaming): Building and maintaining Java functionality for a large-scale online gaming platform with an accent on RESTful services, database integration, automated testing, and cloud-hosted products. Focus on designing reliable microservices, refactoring code for performance and operability, and delivering software incrementally in agile sprints.
Location: Marousi, Greece; hybrid working

What you will do
- Design and develop functionality using established coding standards and patterns.
- Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.
- Contribute throughout the software development life cycle within an agile team.
- Build and operate products and services hosted on premises and in the cloud.
- Review and refactor code to improve platform reliability, robustness, performance, and operability.
Requirements
- B.Sc. degree in Computer Science or a related scientific or engineering field.
- At least 2 years of Java software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience working in agile teams.
- Experience developing RESTful applications with Spring Boot or related frameworks.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases, including SQL, DDL, and ACID concepts.
- Comfortable working in Unix/Linux environments; excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Amazon Web Services.
- Experience with microservices architecture and Docker containers.
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Maven and Jenkins.
