What you will do

• Collaborate with government stakeholders and product leadership to refine and document application requirements.
• Design and implement modern, responsive user interfaces using Angular (or comparable frameworks like React or Vue).
• Build and integrate backend APIs using Node.js (Nest.js) and Python-based analytics services.
• Integrate external data sources, analytics libraries, and query engines to support complex workflows.
• Partner with UI/UX designers and power users to deliver intuitive, data-driven user experiences.
• Test and validate features for functional, performance, and usability requirements in an Agile process.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Active U.S. Government security clearance at the TS/SCI level with required polygraph.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong frontend experience with modern frameworks (Angular preferred; React or Vue acceptable) and UI component libraries (PrimeNG preferred) and/or Tailwind CSS.
• Backend API development experience with Node.js (Nest.js or similar) and Python-based analytics/data processing services.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (particularly PostgreSQL) and deploying applications in AWS; willingness to work onsite full time.

Nice to have

• Experience with data visualization and analytical presentation of results.
• Familiarity with pandas or polars for data processing.
• Experience with Trino or distributed query engines.
• Experience implementing authentication and authorization in cloud-based systems.
• Familiarity with Docker-based development workflows.
