What you will do

• Serve as a primary point of support for software engineers through regular 1:1s and relationship building.
• Set clear performance expectations, provide structured feedback, and address performance concerns.
• Lead development conversations and co-create Personal Development Plans to support career growth.
• Partner with Product, Delivery, and Architecture teams to ensure clarity on priorities and support.
• Identify skill gaps, contribute to hiring decisions, and foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Line Manager, Engineering Manager, Team Lead, or similar role.
• Practical understanding of Agile methodologies and engineering team dynamics.
• Experience with performance management, feedback, and employee engagement.
• Comfort working in a matrix environment with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Understanding of software delivery processes and product development flow.
