What you will do

  • Analyze product requirements and define framework configurations for customer projects.
  • Implement high-level speech dialog interfaces using Android infrastructure and AIDL.
  • Integrate native Android interfaces with speech-controlled applications and cloud components.
  • Perform memory and CPU measurements on target platforms to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with R&D to improve latency and resource consumption.
  • Support the project team in localizing and reproducing software defects.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Android, Java, Kotlin, and C/C++.
  • Deep understanding of Android architecture, including AIDL, Binder, Lifecycle, System Services, and AOSP.
  • Experience with Python scripting.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and German.
  • Willingness to travel for short business trips.

Nice to have

  • Experience with embedded software development.
  • Familiarity with Git, GitLab, and Artifactory.
  • Knowledge of unit testing frameworks like Google Test and Jest.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (SCRUM) and ASPICE.
  • Background in speech recognition technologies.
