TL;DR
APAC Distribution Manager (Life Sciences/Analytical Instruments): Managing distributor-channel growth across Taiwan, Southeast Asia, and Oceania with an accent on pipeline governance, forecasting, distributor enablement, and sustainable revenue growth. Focus on developing business plans, strengthening distributor execution, supporting laboratory technology sales, and coordinating cross-functional market development across APAC.
Location: Tokyo, Japan; regular travel across APAC distributor markets is required.

What you will do
- Manage and develop distributor business across Taiwan, Southeast Asia, and Oceania.
- Build distributor business plans, target-account strategies, pipelines, forecasts, and corrective actions.
- Run distributor business reviews covering performance, risks, opportunities, and next actions.
- Improve distributor effectiveness through product training, demonstrations, evaluations, customer visits, seminars, webinars, and key-account development.
- Support local campaigns, market development, product launches, pricing exceptions, and opportunity qualification.
- Provide structured market and Voice of Customer feedback to APAC and global teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales, channel management, distributor management, business development, or commercial enablement.
- Experience in life sciences, analytical instruments, laboratory equipment, or related industries.
- Experience working with distributors or channel partners across multiple countries.
- Strong understanding of laboratory workflows, sample preparation, chromatography, purification, or related technologies.
- Fluent business English and willingness to travel across APAC distributor markets are required.
