What you will do

• Design and maintain scalable batch and incremental data pipelines.
• Build analytics-ready dimensional models using star and snowflake schemas.
• Optimize Snowflake performance, governance, and cost efficiency.
• Develop Python-based ingestion, transformation, and orchestration processes.
• Enable AI-driven use cases using Snowflake Cortex and native AI capabilities.
• Implement CI/CD, testing, observability, and monitoring for data workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake in production environments.
• Advanced SQL skills and strong dimensional data modelling capability.
• Solid Python experience for data engineering and automation workflows.
• Experience working within Azure-based cloud environments.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work in Burleigh Heads, Australia (Hybrid)

Nice to have

• Experience with Snowflake Cortex or AI-enabled data workflows.
• Experience with Sigma Computing or similar cloud-native BI platforms.
• Exposure to semi-structured or unstructured data (JSON, text, embeddings).
• Experience integrating data services with applications using .NET / C#.
