Senior Software Solution Designer (Telco)

TL;DR

Senior Software Solution Designer (Telco): Designing greenfield software for Fiber network request and installation processes with an accent on business requirement decomposition and system analysis. Focus on creating low-level User Stories, designing microservices architecture, and bridging the gap between business needs and technical implementation.

Location: Must be based in Slovakia (remote working possibility only available within the country)

Salary: Base salary from 2,500€ brutto per month

What you will do

• Create and validate business requirements and User Stories with a clear focus on customer value and development readiness.
• Decompose high-level business requirements into detailed functional specifications for the Gigabit project.
• Perform low-level business analysis to enable the Continuous Delivery Pipeline.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, System Engineering, and DevOps teams to align User Story designs.
• Evaluate business models and integrate them into technical solutions using REST API mappings.
• Identify and define critical non-functional requirements (NFRs) for the features being designed.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Solution Designer in international projects.
• Proficiency in visualizing analysis using UML (Activity, Sequence diagrams) and BPMN notations.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum frameworks and a basic understanding of microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL relational databases.
• English: B2 (Upper Intermediate) required for daily international collaboration.
• Location: Must be based in Slovakia due to taxation regulations.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the German language.
• Experience with tools like Postman, Swagger, or the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• Programming experience in Java or JavaScript (Angular).
