Material Artist (Game Art): Creating production-ready benchmark materials and adapting stock textures for game art pipelines with an accent on Substance Designer, PBR standards, and semi-procedural shaders. Focus on integrating materials with project-specific real-time shaders, optimizing material blending systems, and maintaining a consistent, interchangeable material library.
Location: On-site in Yerevan, Armenia

What you will do
- Develop high-quality benchmark materials using Substance Designer, Substance Painter, ZBrush, or other suitable DCC tools.
- Adapt stock textures, including Megascans assets, to fit production pipelines.
- Ensure material compatibility, interchangeability, and consistency across the project.
- Collaborate with Level Artists to create convenient materials for level construction.
- Verify material integration with project-specific shaders, including tinting and height blends.
- Research and implement current material creation techniques, and support simple prop modeling when needed.
Requirements
- Deep proficiency with Substance Designer.
- Knowledge of PBR material standards and experience creating textures for complex semi-procedural shaders.
- Understanding of material blending systems and optimization for real-time engines.
- Ability to create materials in varied styles and themes with strong attention to stylization and detail.
- At least one shipped CG industry title.
- Intermediate English level or higher and willingness to work on-site in Yerevan, Armenia.

- Proficiency with Maya or a similar Digital Content Creation tool.
