What you will do

• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and stability of the global CloudVision SaaS fleet.
• Develop and operate distributed database systems and scale-out applications on Kubernetes.
• Drive projects in capacity planning, disaster recovery, observability, and CI/CD.
• Improve operational processes through advanced automation and infrastructure-as-code.
• Lead sustainable incident response and conduct blameless postmortems.
• Collaborate with a globally distributed team to maintain high-performance production environments.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from Santa Clara, CA, USA.
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven experience managing distributed database systems or scale-out applications in a SaaS environment.
• Proficiency in Python, Golang, and scripting languages like Bash.
• Strong understanding of systems architecture and production operations at scale.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Experience with infrastructure tools like Ansible or Pulumi.
