What you will do

• Design and operate reliable data pipelines using Python and SQL to ingest interaction data from voice and text channels.
• Manage the data lifecycle using PostgreSQL for structured data and Elasticsearch for search and retrieval.
• Build and maintain scalable dbt projects to transform raw logs into governed data models.
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop business-facing dashboards in Looker and Streamlit.
• Optimize the retrieval layer for RAG/CAG systems, managing chunking and context window optimization in Elasticsearch.
• Instrument the data stack with Prometheus and Grafana to monitor system health, latency, and pipeline reliability.

Requirements

• Elite Python and SQL skills for writing clean, maintainable data processing code.
• High proficiency in using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) to accelerate development.
• Expert-level experience with dbt and cloud data warehousing/databases.
• Hands-on experience operating and optimizing PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch.
• Experience designing complex BI models in Looker and building tools with Streamlit.
• Must be based in Bucharest, Romania for a hybrid work arrangement.

Nice to have

• Experience building automated LLM evaluation frameworks (Faithfulness, Relevancy, Hallucination rates).
• Domain knowledge of Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) and vector/keyword search optimization.
• Experience with transcription pipelines, audio normalization, or telephony data.
• Background in customer care, conversational analytics, or CRM integrations.
