What you will do

• Lead motion design and animation execution across social, digital, campaigns, and global marketing communications.
• Own complex briefs end-to-end, delivering high-quality, on-brand motion work from concept through final delivery.
• Collaborate with designers, art directors, copywriters, and other creatives to produce cohesive work across brands.
• Contribute to brainstorming and concepting with a strong motion perspective.
• Develop, formalise, and maintain motion guidelines to establish a consistent motion language for global teams and agency partners.
• Oversee freelancers/agency partners for video editing and post-production when needed, and present decisions to stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in motion design roles (preferably in the tech sector).
• Expert command of After Effects and Figma, with comfort exploring emerging tools including AI-powered motion tools.
• Strong portfolio showing exceptional craft and versatile motion design thinking across digital, social, and campaign channels.
• Proven experience developing or contributing to motion guidelines and scalable motion systems for global brands.
• Strong communication skills and confidence presenting motion design decisions to stakeholders.
• Based in New York or Austin for a hybrid workplace.
