What you will do

• Operate plant and equipment safely and productively in accordance with work plans.
• Assist with groundworks, duct and culvert installation, fencing, and site set-up.
• Perform daily routine maintenance and safety checks on machinery.
• Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage and safety inspections.
• Assess ground conditions and manage temporary works such as trench sheets and shoring.
• Ensure site safety by monitoring hazards and participating in toolbox talks.

Requirements

• Must hold valid CPCS Roller A09 and Dumper A31 certifications.
• Must possess a valid ECITB CCNSG Safety Passport.
• Must have completed Asbestos Awareness, Fire Awareness, and Emergency First Aid at Work training.
• Must be able to pass a face fit test (Alpha Solway).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the UK.
• Ability to read and implement technical plans, procedures, and work instructions.

Nice to have

• Excavator certification.
• Streetworks validation certificates.
