TL;DR

Local SEO Specialist: Improving client visibility in local search results and driving qualified traffic with an accent on Google Business Profile optimization and local citation management. Focus on implementing on-page and technical SEO improvements, analyzing performance data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align strategies with business goals.

Location: Must be based in Colombia. Working hours: 8 hours/day, Monday–Friday, with at least 7 hours overlapping with 9 AM–5 PM EST.

What you will do

• Optimize Google Business Profiles and manage local citations for multiple clients.
• Conduct local keyword research and implement on-page and technical SEO improvements.
• Monitor performance using analytics tools and track KPIs to provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with content, outreach, and web development teams to ensure cohesive strategies.
• Participate in client calls to align SEO efforts with business objectives.
• Maintain NAP consistency and manage local directory listings.

Requirements

• English: Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of local SEO ranking factors and Google Business Profile optimization.
• Experience with citation building, NAP consistency, and local directory management.
• Proficiency in SEO tools and technical SEO basics including local schema markup.
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
