Company

hirify.global is a volunteer-based, global indie game development team creating an open-world RPG in Unreal Engine 5.

What you will do

• Partner with the Art Director to develop the visual vision of the game.
• Create high-quality digital sketches and iterations of characters, environments, and props.
• Develop original concepts based on references or from scratch.
• Produce illustrative work for in-game paintings in various medieval styles.
• Present ideas to the team and collaborate via Slack and Trello.
• Balance artistic vision with technical constraints of Unreal Engine 5.

Requirements

• Proficiency in digital art tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, or Procreate.
• Strong understanding of art fundamentals: lighting, composition, anatomy, and architecture.
• Ability to create high-quality character, creature, and environment art.
• Fluency in English is required for team communication.
• Ability to professionally incorporate feedback into designs.

Nice to have

• Experience in the game design or development industry.
• Experience with Unreal Engine 5.
• History of shipping one or more video game titles.
• Educational background in art or design.
