What you will do

• Design and architect highly available, scalable, and high-performance backend services and APIs.
• Write performant, reliable, and secure backend systems, focusing on C/C++ to Rust transition.
• Lead teams of 2–4 developers on small to medium-sized projects.
• Review code and maintain high engineering standards and development practices.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement effective solutions.
• Contribute to the long-term technical vision and scalability of the exchange platform.

Requirements

• Must be based in Asia.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ or Rust.
• Experience developing multi-threaded applications.
• Solid understanding of Linux systems and experience deploying software in production.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.

Nice to have

• Experience building systems with financial, security, or compliance requirements.
• Experience scaling production databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and/or MongoDB.
• Prior experience leading software development teams.
• Experience working with regulators or regulatory requirements.
