What you will do

• Design and run experiments in reasoning model training, post-training alignment, and systematic model evaluation.
• Implement model variants, training pipelines (RLVR-based), and evaluation frameworks using PyTorch and Hugging Face.
• Synthesize and translate recent research from NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, and ACL into testable ideas.
• Apply LLM reasoning to crypto-native data, including on-chain signals and market microstructure.
• Maintain rigorous experiment tracking and reproducibility standards using W&B.
• Partner with applied engineering to integrate research into production systems under real-world constraints.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Master's or PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (graduating between 2026 to 2028).
• Strong fundamentals in Python and PyTorch.
• Solid grounding in transformer architectures, LLM pretraining, and reasoning-capable models.
• Ability to form independent research opinions and hypotheses.
• Must be based in Asia.

Nice to have

• Exposure to C++ or Rust.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools in a research workflow.
